Getting your babe on a structured sleep schedule is the key to great naps and getting them to sleep through the night.
Yes, you will most likely be sleep deprived. Sleep is very important, not just for you but the baby!! Some of the free new mom advice you may get is to enjoy the sleepy newborn stage while it lasts. Top 5 Great Sleep Habits
Put baby down to sleep while they are awake. This will help baby learn to go to sleep on their own.
Don't over use the binky. If your little one needs the binky to fall asleep, then they will cry for it when it falls out.
Use lavender spray, here is the one I use! This will help calm them down and begin to associate that smell with sleep time.
Use a weighted sleep sack like this one!
Follow the same routine for naps and bedtime.
