Night time is rough! It is inevitable that your little one's sleep is going to be disrupted.
I dread night time when my little one is sick. Symptoms always get worse at night! I want to share a few things that have helped my little one sleep through the night when he is sick.
Within this post you will learn about some helpful items to use and tips to help your little one sleep through the night. Helpful items to use at bedtime:
Humidifier-
Run a humidifier in your babies room at night! This will help keep the air moist to help them breath better. It will help keep the mucus thin for a stuffed up nose. Make sure to use distilled water and follow the cleaning instructions to help it last longer.
Chest Rub-
When your little one is a baby vicks rubs can be more irritating then soothing. This Zarbees chest rub is very mild. I will rub this on my little ones chest and feet before bed. The calming scents will help put you little one to sleep.
Essential oil
Bath time is super soothing for anyone who isn’t feeling their best! I use this baby safe essential oil. This oil is super soothing. You can add it directly into the bath with a few drops. The lavender and eucalyptus smell amazing. It will help calm your little one and help open them up to breath easier.
When your little one seems to be having a heard time sleeping or wakes up in the middle of the night, running a hot shower helps. Hopefully this will help you get through this rough patch and learn how to help your baby when they are sick.
